Smartphones have integrated into almost every part of our lives it seems. Be it work or personal life, this culture shift has delivered an endless stream of impulse triggered information stimulants that have been dubbed addictive.
Smartphone addiction or Nomophobia is probably a much bigger issue than you think, with the people in the US spending an average of 2:51hrs a day on their devices (with Brazil and China being MORE!).
As mentioned, the addictive nature stems from impulse triggers – these come in the form of dating, shopping, gambling, games, news and of course the biggest culprit social media.
